Don't ask what its called - after spending about an hour at the store trying to explain what model I wanted (i felt so bad for the saleswoman..), I still couldn't remember all the different names they tend to name these beautiful bags..

Now to the basics: top and cardigan are from H&M, bottoms from J Brand, the McQueen scarf, is in fact not a McQueen.. just a look-alike!

I travelled overseas to Miami this weekend - to see my best friend and take a proper vacation, sans the parentals of course :) Local friends took us out to Liv and Arkadia and we had our fair share of drinks at Nikki Beach. It was great, I definitely could've stayed for another week or two! For those of you that haven't been to Miami yet - go!! This is the final outcome of one of my pieces.

I am purposely not referring to myself as an artist, because at this point in time it might still come across as a pretentious remark. Anyway, all you really need to know that painting is my passion. I love it not only for the way it calms me, but for the way it carries me in to a different world. Whether it's good or not is for you to decide.

From now on, I will be posting my work more frequently, because its plays a big role in who I am and you fellow readers deserve to see it!

Seeing as most of my pictures are taken in the midst of leafy gardens, I should probably mention that I do not spend all of my free time strolling through parks. I think it's a habit.. or perhaps a personal preference, taking photos in the green. Oh and I noticed, I am not looking in to the camera once! Do excuse me, I guess it just wasn't one of those days..

I'm wearing a newly purchased Zara coat from the S/S 11 collection, H&M blouse, J brand jeans and a timeless Miumiu clutch - which, I think, ideally corresponds to the current colour trend! Hurray for vintage!

Today I had a celebratory BBQ at a family friend's house. I tried to enjoy as much of the sun as possible, seeing as the weather forecast isn't very promising for the next few days.

A few days ago me and my girls spent the day out in town; shopping and eating ice cream. I was so glad to get out of the house - studying is killing me!

I wore a maxi skirt from Zara and a black crop top - legitimately the most comfortable shopping uniform.

Hey guys. Very busy lately. Wrapped up in school work (a bunch of internal assessments are coming up)-yes that's what you get when you take the IB. A lot of university research and of course; birthday planning.

Me and a friend are hosting a kick ass burlesque-themed party in April. It's really soon, therefore a lot has to be done in the next few weeks. Don't have anything else to tell you - really.. and don't worry, you ain't missing out on any outfit posts.. my looks have been very lugubrious and boring lately.. (and no, I am not trying to seem very well spoken.. but I did learn that word in english class today.. and guess what? I will be using it (: look it up! then you learnt at least one thing off my blog today)

I posted this particular picture, because I have encountered it several times during my hasty blog-check ups and I can't get over how this girl is burning her beautiful celine bag! I'm sorry.. I had to rant somewhere. Instead of continually apologizing for my inconsistent blogging, I will just tell you that I am not the type of blogger to post 3 times a day! I wish I was, but I simply don't have the patience.

Nonetheless, here's a new post - Milan. I went the weekend after fashion week and attended the Mifur fair.

I think I can say I shopped till I dropped, and a few things I bought are on the photos above (including YSL turquoise ring and Balenciaga bag).

I also managed to get a few shots of some street fashionistas, mainly on Monte Napoleone and Via Spiga. I literally have never seen so many well dressed people in one place!! And the chicken that I am, never dared to ask someone to take their picture. I did however, pull the stalker move and shoot from a distance.

Oh, and one thing I clearly noticed is the variety of colour; on the streets, in the shop windows and on the racks. Greens, blues, yellows and reds everywhere..

Colour seems to be the main ingredient this season!

Lately, I have gotten in to the habit of layering skin tight tops. Including shirts and tank tops. I love the look and i'm always really comfortable. The leather pants give the outfit a touch of oomph - which, I think is necessary and any look. There always has to be at least one item thats an eye-catcher. What do you think?

Sorry I haven't been posting a lot of myself lately. I have been sick with the flu all weekend and made the mistake of going to school with a cough and a runny nose today! I think I might take tomorrow off, to fully recover because being sick truly sucks (even though lying in bed with endless desserts and a movies does not sound like something you could resist!!).

I've taken full advantage of the spare time on my hands and thoroughly looked through all my favorite fashion blogs (including afterDRK, fashiontoast & lefashion) and (since its NYC fashion week at the moment) came to realize that rather than observing the clothes, the gorgeous models are wearing, I take more interest in the people sitting in front row and what they are wearing.
